Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026

Short version: Desk Treadmill Tracker does not collect, sell or share your data. Everything it uses stays on your iPhone, Apple Watch and in Apple Health.

Data the app uses

• Apple Health (HealthKit). The app saves walking workouts, distance, steps, active and resting energy, and workout effort. It reads heart rate, resting heart rate, weight, height, date of birth and sex for live display and on-device estimates; its own saved workouts for history and recovery; and the daily Activity summary on Apple Watch. Optional Personal Step Learning can separately read walking speed and step length. Health data is never sent off your devices by the app.
• Bluetooth. Used only to connect to an FTMS treadmill, read supported workout measurements and control the belt.
• Motion & Fitness. On-device pedometer measurements help count steps during walks.
• Notifications and Live Activities. Local system features show walk status and tell you when a walk starts or saves. No push-notification service is used.

What we do not do

• No account or sign-in.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
• No server receives your Health or workout data.
• Nothing is sent to support unless you explicitly choose to send a support report.

Your choices

Change Health access in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Desk Treadmill. Change Bluetooth, Motion and notification access in Settings → Desk Treadmill. Deleting the app removes its local settings; workouts already saved in Health remain until you delete them there.

Support reports

If you choose Send Logs to Support, the app prepares a report containing app, device and treadmill capability details plus Bluetooth activity. It excludes Health data, personal motion samples and learned personal measurements. You review and send the report using the system share or mail interface; nothing is sent automatically.

Children

The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
